| Jennifer A. Mollenkopf graduated Cum Laude from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. Since that time, she has ten years public school teaching experience. After three years in vocal and general music at the Danville and East Knox Local Schools, Jennifer became the Director of Music at Centerburg Local Schools in Centerburg, Ohio. At Centerburg from 1997-2004, Jennifer was in charge of all bands grades 5-12, choir grades 8-12 and middle school general music. For three years she directed the Centerburg Community Band. In 2002, Jennifer joined the staff of the All-Ohio State Fair Band as an assistant director in charge of the upper brass section. A horn player, Jennifer has performed with the Central Ohio Brass Band, Columbus Horn Group, Pleasure Guild of Columbus, Scioto Valley Brass and Percussion Company, Worthington Civic Band and most recently, with the YSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble in Carnegie Hall (March 2005)! After moving to East Palestine, Jennifer spent the 2004-05 school year as a Graduate Assistant of Bands at Youngstown State University. She continues taking classes at the Dana School of Music, working toward her Masters Degree in Music Performance with a conducting emphasis. She resides in East Palestine, OH with her husband David (EPHS Class of '89) and daughter Victoria (Tori will be in the EPHS class of 2018!). |
